Very disappointed with this product. I purchased two cans of this product in 2017 and I have a receipt. I want a refund or to be included as my deck is peeling as well and have the can and pictures for proof.

I had a ramp built for my powerchair and within 6 to 7 months I have to redo the surface and Refill cracks due to paint and cracks failing to cover. We had to remove it all with belt sander and two weeks worth of scraping it was a timely and expensive project. Talk about deceiving advertisement! This ‘product’ is a complete fraud and a waste of time and money.

Absolutely ruined my deck, did it exactly as instructions stated. Same issue…not even a year and 90% of deck is cracked, peeling and looks dreadful! Spent almost $500.00 on product. Save yourself the trouble, mess and expense of this product …don’t use it.

The DeckOver product started peeling off less than a year. Also we had sap come thru which never did before the DeckOver. Sofar we have had to replace one board and the steps and looks like 2 more boards will need to be replaces after this summer. I would agree will all previous replies, this stuff is terrible.

I have a small deck on front of house with roof over it. My large back deck is going to probably be replaced. I purchased 3 five gallon buckets and I totally regret using it. Went on my front porch steps and my front porch in one day started chipping within weeks. Now my front porch in my front steps look horrible, I have to completely re-sand everything, and start over.

You can add us in your law suits. I am sure we have all the receipts from purchasing this horrible product. Deckover has made my summers horrible. BEHR sent me 6 more gallons of this crap to redo my deck. Redid it and have had to deal with peeling and chipping …then scraping and reapplying for the last 4 years.

I also used the Behr Deck Over and less than 18 months it’s peeling like crazy. I am dissatisfied , especially with the cost and what Behr and Home Depot advertised it would do. This product didn’t even hold up two years. Now I have to prepare to remove it and go with another cover, and possible replace some wood work also.

Deck Over did not last a year and had mushrooms growing out of the rotted wood where the cracked paint had trapped water. Have to replace all decking due to the rot. This will cost close to a thousand dollars.

The boards on my deck are rotting and i have a huge deck. Used the product last year on upper and lower deck, it’s terrible chipping, peeling all over even on steps, looks horrible. I also followed all instructions and within 3-6 months it began to peel and crack. I now have to strip it off and redo the surface this product is the worst. Customers should be reimbursed for the product they bought. And the waste of time it took to do all the work.

Where it failed it failed miserably…where it took it won’t come up…both of our decks look like the have mange. Also, with lumber prices going up everywhere, it’s going to be even more expensive to repair my deck. In fact, this case is one of three suits that have been filed this year over the supposed issue.

They name as defendants Behr Process Corp., The Home Depot Inc. and Home Depot USA Inc. It can be used for stippling and applying sand paints. I have a 12 x 12’ deck and one stairway and did what the directions said and also applied an extra coat. The traveled areas are peeling badly and also the top of the rails where water has sat fir any length of time. The spindles are in good shape because of the run off.

I’m 63 and can’t keep having to paint every 6 months or redo our deck. I want to be included in this lawsuit because we have had to replace part of the decks and have spent a lot of money and time trying to get these decks in shape. I used this product on approximately 1000 sf. Followed the required application. Totally sand and removed any prior stain.

I would like to know how to submit a claim. I purchased Behr Deck Over 5 gallons and it was pealing, etc. I also hired a contract who talked with a sales rep from Behr and was instructed how to properly use Behr Deck over on my deck.

We used this product, and it did chip and bubble. I finally, this past weekend was able to get my 16×8 wood deck back on my RV, so far I haven’t put nothing on the wood yet, it is treated lumber thou. We had to rent a sander and try to remove the stain.

Add me to the list of peps looking for restitution. Deck was peeling and bubbling, so attempted to get it all off. Used another Behr product-Wood Stain and Finisher Stripper. Says it comes off in 5-45 minutes. Left it for over an hour and wet it as directed.
